Patattekind is a dedicated French Bulldog kennel based in Nottingham, rooted in over 50 years of family tradition and passion for the breed. What began as a small, heartfelt initiative by our grandparents, has grown into a multi-generational legacy of responsible, ethical breeding. Today, we proudly continue this tradition, raising our French Bulldogs in a warm, home environment where they receive constant love, attention, and the best possible care.
Our latest litter marks the 15th generation of our carefully nurtured bloodline—a testament to decades of commitment to health, temperament, and breed standards. We prioritize the wellbeing of our dogs above all, ensuring each puppy is well-socialized and ready for life as a cherished family companion.
Visitors are always welcome to meet the puppies in our home, as well as their mother and grandmother, who are both beloved members of our household. Their presence reflects the continuity and care that defines everything we do.
Grandma Elsie, father ice and uncle Gimli
Elsie (black mark on left eye) is the current matriarch of our second line, which is where Ice (black mark on left eye-brow) father of our puppies, sits.
Gimli is Patatje’s brother and part of Lobke’s last litter of 2021. All three live together with family friends in The Netherlands.
Mom Patatje
Patatje - Dutch for “French Fry” - is our very first Frenchie. We got her in October 2021 and she came to live with us in the UK with her mother Lobke.
She is very sporty and loves to bring you toys to show off. She loves cuddles, tanning in the sun and sleeping on the couch.

Great-grandma Tippy
Current matriarch of our line, Tippy is 12 years old (2025). Just Like Patatje for us, and Lobke for our parents, she was the litter favourite.
Grandma Lobke
Lobke has lived most of her life in the Netherlands, until after her last litter in 2021 when she was 5 years old.
Lobke is a people’s dog, she likes getting to know new people and loves their cuddles.
She’ll spend her whole day laying in the sun or on someone’s lap.
She loves strawberries so much so that if you’re not careful you’ll find her picking them off the plant herself.
